Experimenting with pens and paper

Here are some sketches of rings I bought at the antique textiles fair in manchester.
I have used black ink and pens, gold pens and a white pencil, on brown parcel paper!
I love using different medias and found paper in my work.

Wedding Design, New project!

Here's a sneak peek at my new project, inspired by wedding trousseaus or bottom drawers!
The imagery for these sketches is taken from special objects the bride may collect for her new house after she is married, and from beautiful objects or materials seen at weddings. The designs will be aimed at stationery mainly,  along with fabrics and wallpaper. ©

Inspred by doileys...

Birdcages and roses.
I created these designs on adobe illustrator, inspired by the repeated, delicate circular patterns on doileys
and sent them through the laser cutter.
I used old papers and paper from music sheets.
Armchair doiley
These were all part of my experimentation for my French flea market project!
Vintage Mirrors
I also laser cut shapes into fabric, and appliquéd them.
